Abstract
The Collaborative parenting Model is an integrated approach to parenting that prioritizes collaboration and shared responsibility among parents. This approach encourages the cultivation of an encouraging environment that is conducive to the growth and development of youngsters by promoting open channels of communication, developing sympathy and encouraging mutual understanding. This model recognizes the need for an integrated approach to parenting, where parents participate in active involvement in decision-making and problem-solving. This research examines the effectiveness of the collaborative parenting model for counsellors interacting with art majors enrolled in local colleges and universities through the analysis of comprehensive big data. We gathered primary data with a sample of 256 counsellors and encompassed a total of 150 institutions of higher education (colleges and universities), employing a deliberate selection process to choose parents based on counsellor assignments. The study utilized the DZ-MCI (Daharnis Zadrian Majoring Choice) approach to conduct an analysis of big data that concentrated on evaluating student academic performance and the level of engagement between school counsellors and parents. The demographic variables were summarized using descriptive statistics, while the acceptability was evaluated using the Rasch model. The utilization of multiple techniques improved the thorough evaluation of the Collaborative Parenting Model. The research demonstrates the requirement of implementing a comprehensive counselor-parent collaboration structure within college-level environments. The findings indicate potential areas for improvement in terms of parent engagement and the necessity for more interactive techniques to improve student well-being and academic performance.
