Reform and Practical Exploration of University English Translation Teaching under Industry-Teaching Integration Based on the Concept of Health Education

Abstract

This paper analyzes the physiological health and psychological health of college students to understand the health status of contemporary college students, so as to infiltrate the concept of health education into the process of college English translation teaching and create a healthy college English translation teaching classroom, so as to make the students’ psychology remain healthy and to lay a good foundation for the students’ long-term development. And based on the industry-teaching integration model, we propose a healthy university English translation teaching reform strategy to achieve the purpose of cultivating high-caliber translation talents who can adapt to the development of the society and meet the requirements of enterprises. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed strategy, 140 students of English translation class in the second year of College D are taken as research subjects for classroom practice analysis. The results show that the average scores of students’ grades in the final test, midterm test, monthly test and after-class test after the experiment have increased by 12.54, 13.97, 11.68 and 12.06 points compared with the average scores of the grades before the experiment. The data show that the university English translation teaching reform strategy based on the health education concept under the integration of industry and education can improve the students’ academic performance, comprehensively improve the students’ comprehensive literacy, and cultivate highly literate translators for the society.
