Abstract

China's tunnel construction technology is changing rapidly, and is moving from being a large tunnel construction country to a strong tunnel construction country. Due to the influence of groundwater, poor soil quality and other factors, the deformation and settlement during the construction and operation of tunnels will inevitably be affected, and in serious cases may even lead to engineering disasters. Therefore, a whole life cycle deformation prediction model for tunnels is proposed for complex groundwater environments. In this paper, based on the Wuxi City Rail Transit Line 3 New Town Station section project, the deformation of the whole life cycle of the tunnel is predicted by finite element software, the pore pressure loss rate at the palm face in different periods is calculated, and the deformation control values of the surface soil layer during the construction and operation periods of the tunnel are given, which are used to guide the construction of the tunnel and provide a reasonable reference for the comprehensive construction of the Wuxi City Rail Transit.
