Abstract

The design of the voltage regulator chip of the new energy vehicle generator considering the heat source loss of the motor is to make the voltage regulator of the new energy vehicle generator more durable. This paper analyses the factors influencing the heat source loss of the generator of a new energy vehicle, starting from the power supply system and the voltage regulator structure of the new energy vehicle. The generator voltage regulator chip is designed by considering the motor heat source loss and the power supply system structure of the new energy vehicle generator, and a DC test and transient simulation are carried out for the chip. The results show that the voltage regulator chip designed in this paper consumes 475μA current at 15V supply voltage with a reference voltage temperature coefficient of 8.5ppm-°C-1 and a reference current temperature coefficient of 72ppm-°C-1. It can be seen that the voltage regulator chip constructed in this paper meets the requirements of motor heat source loss requirements, and also provides a new path for the innovative design of voltage regulator chips.
