Abstract

For a long time, the edge of the basin is an important area for searching and exploring sandstone type uranium deposits. However, several uranium deposits and acidification points have been seen in the basin in recent years, which indicates that the basin also has a good prospect for uranium ore prospecting. This paper expounds the characteristics of sandstone type uranium deposits in the basin, from which the main uranium ore-forming elements of "deep and large faults in the wings of large and medium-sized medium acid-base clastic rock protrusions" are gathered. Based on the basic theory of sandstone type uranium mineralization, the corresponding prospecting methods are formulated. Analyzing the distribution characteristics and exploration methods of sandstone type uranium deposits, flexibly using the data on the earth and publishing the downloaded data information can greatly reduce the exploration cost. Closely focusing on the important factors controlling uranium mineralization and improving the appropriate geological environment and terrestrial mode can effectively improve the prospecting and exploration efficiency of sandstone type uranium deposits in the basin.
