Evaluation on Collaborative Design Software System for Intelligent Manufacturing

Abstract
With the continuous rise of technological level, the manufacturing industry is also shifting from traditional manufacturing to adopting intelligent equipment. This paper would study the collaborative design software system for intelligent manufacturing. This system has the characteristics of intelligence, integration and networking. It uses unified modeling language, integrates advanced design software such as computer-aided design, computer-aided engineering and computer-aided manufacturing, and realizes collaborative design and management of three-dimensional digital models. At the same time, the client/server architecture is also adopted, and the collaborative design function is achieved by establishing a client/server application mode. This article uses a collaborative design software system to improve the production quality of a certain manufacturer to a qualified rate of 92.54%, reducing the production time of a single product to an average of 5.12 hours. The results indicate that collaborative design software systems have a very significant effect on improving the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing industry.
