Abstract

In this paper, we first studied the influencing factors in art design teaching, and constructed a development path for the integration of art design and mental health education, and established a teaching model for emotion regulation in art design. Then, it analyzes the specific process and teaching strategy of art design emotion regulation teaching, and explores the method of embedding mental health education content in art design teaching. Finally, the teaching effect of the teaching method was analyzed through the indicators of learning interest, learning attitude, mental health and interpersonal trust status. The results showed that after using emotion regulation teaching, the students’ obsessive-compulsive symptoms in the experimental group were reduced from 28.53±2.34 to 18.54±2.36, a reduction of 9.99, and the method was conducive to improving the students’ mental health. This study promotes the integration of art design and mental health education, and provides a reference value for the introduction of mental health education into art design courses in the future.
